Molding Cheese:
05/07/13
Day 1:
Today is the start of the experiment. There is no sign of molding yet. I'm using sharp cheddar cheese. There is 3 plates in the laundry room for the darkness, and 3 more by the window cell for the Sun to shine on the cheese. I'm experimenting which cheese that are in different environment will mold quicker.

Day 2:
the one in the fridge are starting to dry up, they're starting to have white spots (dots).
-Supposed to have pictures of all 3 trials of in the fridge (soon will be in this post)-
The one in the dark is turning weird. It's having some liquid (could be grease) on the top of the cheese.
-there should be a picture here (picture will be soon in this post)-
The one that was out in the Sun are starting to have liquid (could be grease) on top of the cheese too. It looks like it's turning more darker orange than yesterday. The liquid (could be grease) looks smaller than the cheese in the darkness.

Day 4:
The one in the dark is getting very greasy. The plate is getting wet, along with the cheese.
The one that is at the window cell shined by the Sun is getting a little more greasier than last time, it's getting the plate wet a bit too. It's less greasier on the plate than the one in the dark.

Day 7:
The cheese in the fridge has no sign of molding yet. It's still dry and looks the same.
The one in the dark at the laundry room is starting to crack and getting greasier.
The cheese that was in the Sun is getting greasier too. It's also cracking a bit.

Day 8: The cheddar cheese that's in the Sun, still looks like the same as yesterday, including the one in the fridge. The one in the dark seems to be pealing of falling apart a bit. Also it's getting kind of rough. I still don't see any sign of moldiness (any fuzzy object on the cheese, grey, etc.).

Day 12:
The cheese that is in the dark that the grease is drying up and now
it's all rough/bumpy. As shown in the picture below (if cannot see, feel free to click on the picture) there's a little sweat and drying off grease. It's cracking a bit too.
The one in the Fridge has White spots/scratches, it's getting dry. Maybe, some kind of fluid (liquid) is on the plate if you look at it up close. Just click on the picture.
The one in the Sun is kind of in the dark because the grease is drying up a bit too. It's leaving color on the plate if you looked up close. It's has just a little grease because the grease is drying up.
